LUNA ARCANA ISSUE 6
LUNA ARCANA ISSUE 6
Luna Arcana is a beautiful arts + literary print journal based in the Mojave Desert. Their most recent issue 6 features an original written piece I wrote on the theme of grief, inspired by my heartbreaking move from my beloved temple home in Joshua Tree of 12 years. This piece is intimate and vulnerable, and I’m grateful to be able to share a piece of my heart with you in this way.
Additionally, several new never-before-seen photography works of mine are included in the piece. These images were taken in my last months living on the land, as a poignant documentation of the beauty that is birthed from pain.
The piece titled, Your Cabin, My Home, was written while still living in my cabin, in the depths of the pain of impending departure, as a way to process this unexpected news and to give voice to the higher perspective of it all. What a gift it was to honor this healing process creatively and to share it with others. What a gift it was to find the beauty of this devastation.
If you get yourself a copy, please let me know how you felt about it! :) I am deeply grateful to editors Rohini Walker and Martín Mancha for the opportunity to share my heart in their journal and for honoring my work so beautifully.
Also worth mentioning, my photography can be found in every issue of Luna Arcana (except issue 1)! :)
