Winter Solstice is a Holy Day, and a powerful portal of change. This day is considered to be the beginning of Winter, where we arrive at the precipice of a time of deep transformation. Winter is a time of unseen activity under the surface, so much taking place in the darkness. It is a time to withdraw and grow still and quiet, listening for our inner truth and allowing the rhythm of our hearts to guide the path moving forward. Winter Solstice is the divine invitation to plant sacred seeds filled with loving intention of what will be birthed in the coming year.
As we approach Winter Solstice, the days become increasingly shorter, and the arrival of Winter Solstice is the culmination of these dark days, with the sacred pause of deep stillness holding a point of peace for 3 full days. Thereafter, the light slowly and gently begins to increase in our days. This potent embrace of darkness and immersion into the gifts of the unseen becomes the vehicle for the re-birth of light. This is a time of new light coming to our lives, and powerful new visions to be made manifest. Intentions set during Winter Solstice powerfully impact the entire next year.
In ceremony, we make the most of this sacred day by harnessing the energy and expanding it through presence and intention. In sacred space, we align with the power of Winter Solstice, and bless ourselves with the gifts it holds for each of us. Together, with Cacao Spirit as our guide into the depths of our hearts, we support each other in this work.
